My story in short
I started out as a graphic designer, building my very first website on GeoCities (around 1997). Over the years I grew into a frontend developer, and these days a full-stack developer. What that really means is that what goes live is exactly what we came up with and agreed on together.
For ten years I was the full-stack developer and designer of a DJ company in Groningen. There I worked on the website and the SaaS platforms, from the first sketch and functional design to the database and API integrations with Salesforce. Before that I worked at agencies and companies like Lab050, Yourhosting and Atos Origin.
My background is broad and varied: school in Singapore and Groningen, computer science in England, an internship and work experience in the United States, an MBA at the Hanze. So I don't just look at what's technically possible, but also at what a business actually gets out of it.

When I'm not behind my screen, I'm probably busy with my three kids or out touring on my motorbike. I try to work out as often as I can, with running, cycling or HIIT.
